City of Tomball should be ashamed of themselves!

This is just down right ridiculous. The city continues to develop while relying on the nearly 100yr old storm water drainage to keep up. Don’t worry guys, just keep building, we will figure out what to do with the water in our living rooms. Just over 3” of rain from 3:45am - 5:45am.

    Please help me spread this

Yeah I drive down Holderreith from 249 daily. The road floods with an inch of rain. Hufsmith Kohrville, where our office is located, isn't much better. If we're not careful or paying attention to the rain, we could easily get flooded in.

Man that’s frustrating. 3” of rain is a lot, but not enough to make neighborhoods look like that. Sounds like they need to do some reinvestment in infrastructure.

I keep thinking that. But I also think something has got to be done eventually. Doesn’t the city have some sort of responsibility for this??

If a person lives there, they elect the officials who spend their money. Time to start actually attending city counsel meetings and voting these people out if they can't get the job done.

Yes I believe you are right. I was also thinking about going door to door and getting a petition signed with names

Tomball flooding is about to get worse. We just got word the city approved a 400 house development in the Holderieth, HK, 2920, persimmon area. What are they thinking?

That does not even include the large commercial lot on HK just south of 2920 that is still for sale. That will be developed someday too.

And they're developing on Spell and Holderieth.
