Yes. It’s similar to compensation picks in the NFL. Like you said once he held out and we entered the season. Teams became hesitant to sign both him and Craig Kimbel because of the potential draft pick lost.

Tyler was pitching and josh was playing 1sr base it was not pretty. Tyler struck out shed swinging on a 67 mph pitch that unfortunately was the highlight of the game.

Kind of a useless stat all by itself. If you've followed the season, you'd notice we have one of the lowest allowed runs. Comparing percentage of runs to solo dingers gets good teams inverted.

On base percentage and risks to multiple run dingers is a more telling stat.

Hitters gonna hit... best to have that happen with empty bases.

Stringing together at-bats it what matters. Giving away a longball in a 4 atbat inning isn't gonna be why you lose... and the stros record kinds proves that.
