Another opening day washout

Drove through rain all the way to camp. Just got texted a pic of the field we are supposed to hunt in the morning- standing water everywhere. Oh well, we got ribeyes and whiskey for tonight. Will try to shoot some pigs in the morning and maybe the dove field will dry out enough to hunt tomorrow afternoon

Thank the lord for the blessing of rain and the rain to come. It may well impact your dove hunting, but some folks, myself included have seen a total of about 4 inches this last year. It's starting to hurt livelihoods. You are among the fortunate to get rain that is much needed across much of the state. Be a glass half full, not half empty guy.
