Congrats, I wouldn't recommend that shot angle again. Your lucky you found him, lots of bone you can hit doing that and more often than not it ends in a lost deer.

he was broadside, at least mostly, may have been ever so slightly quartered towards me, but he heard my strings at 37 yards and turned to look. I did say I probably wont take a shot that long again though.
