    Took this pic at my daughters house near Maypearl last year, forgot about it. Anybody know what it is?

                      We just called them "clicker" bugs. Yes, they click when they flip themselves over. You often see them attached to another one having some romantic evenings.

                        Some look similar but I don’t think those are click beetles.

                        He doesn’t have any clickers. I think El Viejo was correct with the ironclad.
