Ran Into “That Guy”...Defending Bowhunters from the Hunting Expert

When i run into someone like that i always point out that to be a good bowhunter it takes hours & hours of practice with my bow before i am confident in my skills to go bowhunting. Whereas, some rifle hunter can go to Walmart, buy a rifle, get a scope put on it, bore sight it and go hunting that afternoon without ever firing a shot practicing.

99% or rifle hunters do not do this, but it is pissible.

I think you would be surprised how many people I've come across that thought bore sighted meant the gun was sighted in or do not shoot their rifle ever again after initial sight in and assume its on every year...

I have seen plenty of bow hunters and gun hunters that shouldn't be shooting at game. Doesn't matter what weapon you use if you don't practice.

Some people will never have a good opinion about bow hunters, even though they have probably never bow hunted themselves.

no way, that blood runs thick and they would never give up another, regardless of how bad they hunt,,,,, unless of course it will get the "bad" hunter in jail long enough so the name dropper can go poach his deer!
