No clue. It was really light to begin with so hopefully the weight is distributed evenly. Might have to block up the axles.

Havenít had too much time to work on it since my first post. In-laws were in town all weekend so finally got back at it today after everything on the job site was rolling. I got most of the sheathing up. Should finish that tomorrow and hope to get the roof decked.

I got all of the sheathing and decking this week. Framed the wall for the shower/toilet room in the back. Hopefully I can get MEP roughed in and some of the exterior facade put up next week.

Looks solidly built, but that thing is going to be HEAVY! I'd definitely verify your axle ratings.

But if you're not going far with it (once complete), and it's not going to move after put in place, that might not be too big of an issue.

You are building an awesome project. Thanks for showing us how a commercial general contractor constructs a camper/tiny home. Also, good pics that show your framing and other construction details. Cool project.

Itís getting HOT!!! Tough to get very far when you start in the heat of the day. Progressing though. Sheathing is 100% taped off. Got my three windows and one door installed. Soffit and facia done. Trimmed out the windows and door and put up the cedar 1x12 today. Will work on the batten tomorrow and Thursday. Gotta order some galvanized paneling and trim for the lower half of the exterior. Once I have the outside finished Iíll be concentrating on the finish out inside.

Lots of progress. The metal is on the outside. Plumbing roughed in yesterday. Picked up the mini split air conditioner yesterday. Waiting for my brother to come rough that in. As soon as thatís done electric will be roughed in and then itís time for spray foam and a race to the finish. We are getting close to the end of the construction project where I have this thing parked so I have to hurry up before this turns into a project in front of my house.

Where are you going to mount the condenser for the mini split?

I’m thinking of putting the condenser up high on the outside back wall.

Can they be wall mounted? Seems that would restrict airflow around it.

I'm with you. Most used campers have more issues than be overcome due to the non-conventional construction methods. You build this, you'll have it forever and if anything goes wrong you'll know immediately how to solve the problem.

So I havenít had an update for awhile because it has been at the trailer shop. I figured out that the axles were way undersized. Had to get it, slowly, to the trailer shop. They ordered new axles, wheels, tires, and got all the wiring and lighting taken care of. Iím having them fab a hitch attachment with an electric winch at the top of it so I can easily lift my deer or hogs to clean and quarter them. They will be all done on Monday and then I can get the trailer to my foam insulation guy so that I can keep moving forward with the finish out hopefully before the start of the season. Also got my hunting rig out of the transmission shop this week too.
