It has definitely tested mine a time or two! I have next to no experience fiberglassing so all this is foreign to me.

Okay, I’m having trouble uploading pictures again so if you would like to check out the progress I’m on instagram as Skinny Dipper Fishing.

I am happy to text a couple update pictures if someone can assist in posting them.

This morning I got the hull in icing! A nice skim coat of faring compound is covering the entire hull. Tomorrow I will more than likely start the time consuming task of sanding her out. That will take several days if not a week.

Looking at the pictures Skipjack looks so small! She is 14’ 2” long 54” wide with 12” of freeboard at the bow and 8” at her stern loaded to her 800# capacity drafting only 4 1/2”. She’s built for two and gear and with the little 15hp Evinrude she’ll do a respectable 18-20mph loaded or 25-28mph solo. I can’t wait to put the numbers to the test!

I was wondering if you had planned to use that E-15 in the previous pics . And what she'd hold.

You got some fun times ahead coming.
