How do you mow your yard?

How do you mow and why?
A. In straight lines from curb to house
B. Straight lines - side to side
C. In a square or rectangle with square getting smaller each pass.
D. One deck width narrower each pass, some straight runs, curves around unmowable things, etc because I am not trying to impress anyone with anything I have, especially a yard, I would probably care more about a yard if I lived on a 1/2ac lot and that is all I had to take care of though

Do you:
A. Weed eat -- yes
B. Poison -- sometimes
C. None - screw that

What do you use:
A. non powered push mower
B. Powered push mower
C. Riding mower
D. Shredder

Do you:
A. Always do the mowing -- wife likes to weedeat (I don't usually do it the way she wants it)
B. Make your kids mow.
C. Make your wife mow -- I would let my wife mow but if any man on here claims he MAKES his wife mow you better watch out because he will lie about other things too

I'm like you .. I'm keeping the deck in the high grass.. I ain't trying to make it look fancy just trying to get it done. If the blades arent in grass you ain't getting done..

Yard B and C: She mows them like a drunken hamster - I don't interfere, nor do I judge.


Do you:
A. Weed eat, Yard B and C, yes, if it's not too hot, Yard A - they better, they get a whole $95 a month, including trimming palms and hedges.
B. Poison, sometimes.

What do you use:
B. Yard A - Cubans use a push mower, it's real small.
C. Riding mower - yard B and C
D. Shredder - sometimes at B and C

Do you: Not me.

C. Make your wife mow - she said she likes it. I even bought her a second ZT last year so she would have one at each place.

I'm exhausted just thinking about all this work.

I feel your pain. The one in my front yard is estimated to be 300yrs old. I have 2 others over 100. Still dropping crap. The last pic is my 5yr old son and his 6yr old cousin. 28’ in circumference. Canopy spans over 120’

Holy cow I am jealous, those are beautiful trees! Way cool!

And to answer the question of the original post, I stopped mowing my own yard when it took over an hour for me to mow, weed eat, and blow off the driveway/sidewalk. I now leave money under the flower pot every week and I come home to a beautifully landscaped yard
