I lost an arrow out of my quiver in Colorado one year in some thick stuff. This was my first thought about what could happen. Backtracked for a while and never found it.

                  Ouch x's 2.

One of the many reasons I wear knee high hunting boots year round.

Ouch. That look like it would make for a long hike back to the truck.

Something does not add up. Who feels a poke in their leg and decides to "push through" making an arrow go all the way through your leg. Something smells fishy...

The normal response is to stop and look or back away.

I think there is more to this story we are not being told.

Looks mighty painful by the way

Had one go through mine with a fixed broadhead on it. Emergency room personnel did not believe it was an accident and threatened to call the cops. I unscrewed the broadhead and pulled it out then duct taped it until I got to the emergency room. Not sure why he left it in there.
