Grand slam hunt #1–Mule Deer

I know I have been relatively quiet for a while but it’s about time for a hunt!!!! I fly out tomorrow afternoon to start my hunts through the Texas Grand Slam drawing. I usually bowhunt but these four hunts will be rifle. That’s the requirement for the bighorn and what the mule deer folks do. All good with me! I be carrying my APR 6.5 PRC and will hopefully rename it the Texas grand slam rifle. Gotta survive work today and overnight plus a bit in the am. Flying to El Paso tomorrow afternoon. Should be awesome!
