I went to check my stock tanks today and this is what I found in one of them. I made an attempt to get him out. Stripped down to my underwear, put on some old shoes and tried to get to him. I was 10 feet away and the water was up to my waist....about that time I said screw it.

I am high fenced and can account for every deer that has been shot this year. Although you are correct, I once found a doe that had been gut shot in this very same stock tank. I was able to recover her.Originally posted by merlin View PostComment

By Friday, it should be washed up to the bank with the wind that is forecasted tomorrow. Or it will have already went to the bottom.
Any hook should do. just slowly pull and it will float on over.Comment

Can you get a small boat/canoe/kayak in there? Tie a rope to it, go back to the bank and pull it in.Comment
