Otters swimming in lake on ranch should I be worried

    The first time I opened this thread for some reason my mind read “others” instead of “otters”. I thought the OP was crazy !

        I didn't see one in my pond but near it and didn't get a shot at it, first one I've seen around but my creek leads to Lake Ray Roberts. No sign of him at my pond but I think he's hit it don't catch near the fish we used to. After seeing and reading up on them they go after the bigger fish first since they are the slowest. I set traps in creek but all I caught were coons and my dog. I'm around pretty much all the time and haven't seen sign of him but they can be nocturnal even though I spotted him in daylight. They haven't really been hunted or trapped so not probably not to worried about daytime and Ray Roberts has plenty of them and typical government operation won't let them be killed, legally.....
