    Cow resistant dove fields?

Is there anything that dove like that cows won't mess with? Something that can be shredded before the season?

Dove weed, never seen cows eat it.

What about sunflowers? I would not think cattle would eat this.

            Yes, cows will eat sunflowers.

No, they won't eat goat weed / dove weed / wooly croton. And you can shred that without "baiting".

How did the hunt go on your field? Not a single dove using my sunflowers

So the sesame is about four times cheaper than the croton. Cows won't eat that for sure??

South zone, so the season doesn't open until the 14th.

It is touted as being a horse, goat, pig, cow, deer, etcetera resistant. All that I can attest to is hogs and deer not messing with it. Is fenced off from the cows.

Croton is free, maybe not this year but run a shallow disk to scratch the ground after the first frost and you'll have it next year for dove season
