    Yank The Army Weekly

Wife and I are doing some spring cleaning and ran across these in one of my boxes. Pretty neat-always thought I would have an office to display them in but hasn’t happened yet not sure if I just stick them back in the back or try and sale them

There were two men in Montgomery, AL. (Since deceased) who realized years later they were on opposite ends of the Remagen Bridge, think it was RB and not Arnhem, shooting at each other . One leading his men as a Lieutenant, I believe, and the other shooting an 88 at him.

Also, the date of that issue, January 7, 1945, is the day an Uncle died at Rochelinval, Belgium. He was leading his 551st PIB on an ill fated advance across an open area to take a German position.
