Default And a fishing pole holder for me

Just ordered some cue stick holder/clip things from amazon and bam. Routered 1/4" deep holes into the bottom 1x4 to keep them in place and then added some stain.

This looks perfect! I saw some at ****'s last week for about $7. I wasn't sure if they would work, but it's great. The rod specific holders are closer to $20. I'll be doing this now.

Good idea! Could you post a close-up picture of the bases? I'd like to see how you did that.

Routered holes about 1/4" deep every 5.5" on center. They may be 1 1/8" in diameter. Just 1x4's. That help?

Nice work, Lee. That's better than putting them up against the work bench.

Nice job! Might want to add a dependable door stopper, dont want a swinging door to knock of the eye on those rods off.

Good idea; I need to do that at my lake house where I keep all my rods and reels and my bass boat. Right now when I leave I put them in a corner, we have 18 rods and reels.
