    DIY: Painting My Own Lures

Just recently got into painting my own lures...painted some plugs for a recent trip to the surf.

Pretty cool. A popper will get em in the surf. The black and orange looks like the old Mirrolure 808.

I had some success with the yellow and pink (linked the video where I was using the popper)...it wasn't exactly "popper" conditions most mornings we were in Alabama due to the grass...but it was a blast when I was able to fish it.

Between this and panhandle I may have to get into this.

Mind sharing what spray gun you have and where you get the lures from?

@Quackerbox. I have the link to my entire setup here: https://www.reckonill.com/2021/07/21...anglers-alike/

You can get blanks Barlow's Tackle which happens to be in the DFW area
