I refinished a Thompson Center Hawkin rifle.

I want to shoot real black powder.

I am having trouble finding some.

Does anyone know of a source?

Bass Pro in Grapevine used to be about the only place I could find it many years ago or some smaller out of the way gun shops I would see it occasionally.

It is much easier to find BP subs. In real BP, Midway USA has Goex available.

Plenty of black powder out there, caps is another story like primers. Graff n sons, powderinc powder valley all hook you up. The more you buy the more you eat up hazmat fee, I usually order 10+ pounds at a time. Had get caps from midway this week n buy 2500, lots of musket caps but no 10 n 11 caps hard get
