Prayer Request

My youngest son plays basketball for Katy Jr High. At a game tonight, he went up to block a shot. When he came down, he caught himself with his arm out stiff. He broke both bones in the right forearm. His hand was at a 90 degree angle to his arm. Had him transported by ambulance to the hospital. They got it straightened out the best they could, but it is still not aligned right.

They are admitting him tonight, and will be doing surgery tomorrow to correct the alignment. Please send up a prayer for Caleb. He is in quite a bit of pain, and pretty nervous about everything.

Prayers up for Caleb for quick and full recovery. I had very similar break on my arm about 40 years ago when I was his age. Dr.'s straightened out best they could and never did surgery. I have no after affects and everything came back to 100 percent after about 6 to 8 months. Worst part was rebuilding the strength in the arm. The technology nowadays they should be able to fix him up without issue and get him on the road to recovery.
