The eco boost is INSANE!!

It has been 11 years since I had a new truck and it was well worth the wait for this one!

Congrats. Yah the 3.5 felt way more powerful than the coyote to me when I was truck shopping. I chose the ecoboost too. Do yourself a favor and put a tank of premium in it and put it in sport mode... whole new truck!

A guy at my office swore that it made a big difference in his truck so I tried it. It no doubt felt different. It definitely reduced the turbo lag and had increased throttle response time. If gas prices were lower I'd only put premium in it.

I don’t know that the Ecoboost requires premium fuel but on cars that do, if you use a lower octane fuel the computer will adjust timing, boost (if boosted) spark and all kinds of things resulting in lower power levels and potentially loss of efficiency.
