Well today has been a great day. Got into blind around 6 this morning. Got settled in and waited for the sun to come up. First deer into field is a 10 pt with split g2's. Great looking young deer but as soon as he made appearance dang pig shows up. Well I gave it a go at 40 yards and shot high over back. Pig takes off and I now have a lighted nock looking like a rave party under feeder. So I jump out of blind and retrieve the arrow. Now inside the blind looks like a rave party. Finally get nock turned off and figure this hunt is over. So I decided to stay another hour just in case. Glad I did. 20 minutes later I ended up killing my biggest buck ever. Don't have a clue on score but he has 16 points and I'm still smiling. Shot at 10 yards and the rage did its job.
