I might actually be able to make this one, at least 1 day!

Ditto! If I’m close enough on the list yet.

So I am a novice trad shooter, but would like to participate. I have not shot in any organized way, I’m curious about how you would prepare and how many arrows one would bring and any other advice.
              Thanks
              Bert

Bring cash to pay for your round(s), bring half a dozen arrows (preferably with bright fletchings to find if you miss the target),a good sense of humor, and expect most shots to be 10-20 yards, with a few at 25, and maybe with one or two stretched out to 30-35 yards.

That pretty much covers it. As far as preparation, just prepare to meet some great people and have a great time. You will find these shoots to be very relaxed - just jump in and enjoy?

I feel the enforcement of rule 17 may hinder my ability
Any idea how may folk shoot the men’s wood recurve?
And can I shoot in the Ladies wood recurve, as I may identify as such that weekend

You can usually get a sense of turnout by going to the Cowtown or TBoT website and looking at past shoot results.

It varies from year to year but there are usually 15-20 cards turned in for men's recurve wood and about 30-35 for men's recurve open.

Who else is braving the cold for this shoot? This will be my first TBOT 3D shoot, and I’m gonna shoot both days. Definitely looking like a true Winter 3D shoot according to the weather forecast.

It's 15 minutes away for me.
Well, on dry pavement. 30 on ice.[emoji1]
Planning on being there early and shooting a round. Two if the shoulder holds up and I don't run out of arrows.
