                Lol. Was a joke. Once a pine tree is over about 7’ it’s basically useless to a deer. Bedding and cover when planted... then shade out understory and drop useless pine cones after that

                      If you did it after this freeze you will probably be ok. Good luck. Deer are curious animals. I've killed a few right after trees were thinned. The deer will walk those new lanes just to check it out.
