    3D trail camera camo

Hiding trail cams on public land.

This is a working progress and I am by no means the artsy farty type but I'm going to do my best in documenting progression.

    Starting camera Moultrie XA-7000i

    Material: Loctite Clear Power Grab

Probably should have verified it could be painted before using. Crap...

I applied the Power Grab in lines with intention that will look like bark once painted.

This is just for peace of mind. The type of people who scout and hunt the areas I do have a general respect for other's things. We are the ones trudging through crap, reeds, thickets, briars, and just generally too far in for lazy opportunistic people who thieve.

Dark outside, no flash, only light is from my garage.

              Good job

I think the strap gives them away more than anything. A 1" band around a tree draws attention even if it is slightly off color from the bark

That's what I have been reading.
I made some screw in mounts and will nix the straps too.

Moultrie put solid brown doors on the most expensive camera. How much harder would it be to camo the full unit?

You can mount it without the strap with a t-mate/treemate combo and put it up a bit and angle it down some.
