I am trying to building a playlist on Vietnam war songs.
What songs when you hear them throw you back into that era?

Buffalo Springfield- "For What it's Worth"

For me, this is by far the song that reminds me of the Vietnam War.

Not a song from that era, but a song about the war. It was written for/about the guitarist's Dad who was in the war.

            Alice In Chains - "Rooster"

"I Left My Heart in San Francisco" by Tony Bennet. Because, the last thing I saw when we left was the Golden Gate Bridge. When we came back the plane started its descent and when we broke out of the cloud clover the fist thing we saw was the Golden Gate Bridge, everyone on the plane stood up and cheered.
