Killer gun! Congrats. I don't have a recommendation on a holster since I make my own, but there is no way in he77 I could wait until after Christmas to hunt with it.

Review that optic when you get a chance! I haven't had a chance to check one out.

I will. This one didnít come with the BDC dial but Iíve contacted Leupold to see if I can add it. It seems like a rugged optic, crystal clear glass, and a good small 1 MOA dot with 1/4Ē MOA adjustments. I did not want some of the other brands that make 4-5 MOA dogs with sometimes up to 1 MOA adjustments.

Picked up another Seekins Havak PH1 today. It’s currently in 6.5 Creedmoor configuration, but that won’t be for long. It was too good of a deal to pass on.

Made a trade for an 20+ year old Browning BLR in 7-08. Rifle is in 95%+ condition with flawless metal and a few light surface scratches / dings in wood. Can't wait to kill something with it.

Guns, knives, bows and optics are meant to be used and hunted with! Each blemish tells a story. If you want investments, but gold or a stock. IMHO.

If you can handle those hand cannons, come north to Montana for otc elk next Sept and weíll go to the Gravelies Range which is great elk hunting but had 4 bear attacks this season.

Picked up my new Taurus 6.5Ē 992 22/22 mag revolver today. Havenít shot it yet, but initial impression is really good. No scratches. No hammer rub. Single action lock up is tight and the cylinder gap is .004. Very tight for a revolver with a swing out cylinder. The one thing Iím not crazy about is the trigger pull. Itís fairly crisp but too heavy for my liking. Single action pull weight is 7 lbs and the double action pull weight needs a come-along. Iíll have to work on that and lighten it a bit.
