Just popped up on my news feed that Jim Crane is firing Hinch & Luhnow...….makes me wonder if he has something up his sleeve?

I'm going to guess that MLB is using the Astros and the RedSox as examples to discourage any other participation. I doubt they are pretending anything.

Yep...and I’m glad. Cut ties and reboot everything and start fresh. If they had stayed, in the future everyone would have always wondered if it was still going on

Good riddance. Stealing signs is a part of the game, but to have a camera fixated on the catchers crotch and in real time relay them to a hitter... Clearly crosses a line. What's next, breaking into the offices to steal scouting reports??

Show me a team that hasn't done the same thing. Next thing you know they will say they were caught deflating the Baseballs.

The punishment was not near harsh enough. They should have been stripped of the title as well.

The Houston Astros have fired general manager Jeff Luhnow and manager AJ Hinch following MLB 's investigation into the team's sign-stealing schemes during its 2017 World Series-winning campaign...

                        They gone. Fired!

Really it doesn't matter. We still have a championship... Don't we

                                From the ESPN article:

The league discipline is among the harshest ever delivered by a commissioner, with Luhnow and Hinch banned until the day after the final game of the 2020 World Series despite neither having involvement with the scheme -- and Hinch twice trying to damage the monitor used as a show of protest.
