Live Hunt- Lower Rio Grande Valley-Teniente

Did a quick scout this morning along with lots of satellite scouting. Saw a couple nice bulls and one big cow. Also saw one whitetail in the y’all grass.

Set up a tripod about 20-25 yards on a big tank/water hole. Tons of tracks, whitetail, pigs, and nilgai! Bunch of big wallows all around the waters edge. Never seen the valley this green. Headed back to the stand now. Will update when I can.

Good luck, had the opportunity to hunt it last year and arrowed a cow but couldn’t recover her. I live 10 minutes away so pm me if you get something down and need help packing out.

Should be unlimited nilgai and hogs as well as 3 whitetail deer I believe. I’m going off of what I was allowed last year on my hunt.

Yea. One big bull or cow is plenty meat for a whole year. I’m not discriminating on any animals, size, race, color, breed, sex, nothing. All are fair game. I passed on several does last year and not doing that this year.

I can tell you for one thing, really really really watch for snakes. We hunt land bordering teniente and have killed 3 rattlers in the past 2 weeks and our neighbors have killed multiple others.
