    Main key is water
Hunt the drainages and basins and you should find them
I am hunting around lake Vallecito right by where you will be going out of

Anyone have info on the Conejos campground area?? It's of Fdr 250 and which parallels the wilderness area on the east side... I would like to know if there are many or any bridges that would get you over the Conjeos River and allow access to the wilderness area?? All input is highly appreciated

Hey sasqy, I'm looking at hunting the north end of 751 here in 2 weeks and I would love to pick your brain on a few basic things if you don't mind. I tried to send you a PM but my account doesn't meet the requirements yet.

I believe there are only 1 or 2 crossings.

I was up there 2 years ago. Most sign we saw was North and East of Slide Mountain.

I believe Slide mountain is way north in GMU 4 by Craig Co.
                          No where near 75-751

On our map Slide is South of Lake Valecito. We camp at the end of Beaver Meadows Road. Between (again what my map shows) Baldy and Slide is where most of the elk were seen and the bulls taken that we saw.

You are correct there is a slide mountain there as well
Beaver meadows is a great area to hunt that is for sure
I am just southwest of there
