Pretty simple and not any different than NM. The Republican party must find a way to get more of the Hispanic vote or Texas is blue in 10 years and won't come back.

This place is a lost cause I think.

I feel like Texas’ problem is the same as SC’s. Booming economy and a nice climate. Opens the flood gates for folks from the NE and Kalifornia.

I'm afraid 10 years is being very generous and it's not just the hispanic vote.

Everyone under 40 is being told this is the fault of Boomers and it's why a 21 year old can't own a home, work only 40 hours, and support a stay at home wife w/ kids. The American dream.

Ironically the friends I have that did all the above in their young 20s didn't go to college

How do they do that?....promise a bunch of free stuff?
People always say this. Must find a way. Well, what the hell are they wanting? What are blacks wanting? What are asians wanting? Trump has set up an economic reality that has created millions of jobs, he praises christ often, more Hispanics are employed than ever before, same with blacks. What the hell does the Republicans need to do? Pass out money

the DNC started after trump was elected. We were supposed to lose the house AND senate to dems. We aren’t. The house was always going to be a toss up. The DNC predicted a landslide of blue in the house AND senate. They are not getting that. In fact, the GOP is picking up SENATE seats! That was not supposed to happen! And those house seats they are getting? Unless they are in liberal states, they are not rabid liberals. This is NOT a victory for the DNC. I’ll take it any day over the alternative.

Yeah he does. He is arguing that how great the Dems did in taking the House but that the Repubs had it easy in retaining the Senate. The Dems had a much easier path to grabbing the House given the seats that were up for grabs than the Repubs did in the Senate. The House will cause problems and distraction for Trump but having a much larger majority in the Senate is yuge for Trump going forward. He will get all of his judges confirmed and any possible supreme court nominees.

It's not going to he a surprise when he runs, and I'll predict he will be the dem nominee.
He is Obama's second coming. No experience, anti capitalism, anti borders, bunch of free stuff. Hell he will get more votes. But he will not be president

On similar thought wish Trump would tone down the tweets/verbiage ... just keep the winning policy/results coming but try toning down the rhetoric. Yes it’s funny for most of us conservatives but seeming America has too many touchy/feely people. Rather concentrate on/achieving long term goals (future elections in that) .. if lower rhetoric helps that, so be it.

If the economy and jobs are the number one issue for voters, how in the wide wide world of sports do so many dems get elected after the employment numbers from the last two years?

Makes no sense.
