Anyone ever shoot the Fort Scott? I saw it at Crosshairs the other day and the guy said it tumbles. Made for piggies.

I shot 4 axis out to 130 yards last year with my 308 subs. 300 blackout should be the same.
I used Beck Ammunition Rex Maximum Expansion. I shot two in the neck and dropped them. Two behind the shoulder looked like an expandable broadhead hit them. Ran 30 yds or less. Accuracy was excellent at 100

I shoot the Hornady Black 208gr A-Max. But I'm head shooting pigs at less than 60 yards, so I'm not sure about it's actual performance.

I guess Beck loads the 194 gr Lehigh expanding for there 300 Blackout. Iíve never personally shot them but sounds like thatís the way to go.

I have had good luck with the 170 and 194 Leigh bullets. I used them with my tracking dog.
Full speed ammo works a lot better

Not sure the accuracy of these but Dallas Reloads makes a few different type and some that expand.

Dallas Reloads makes some great ammo. He baked up a subsonic round for my Creedmoor long before it became popular.

Curious about it also. I have it loaded for 2 legged varmints but would like to see real world performance.

I don’t think most people understand the energy loss with subsonic ammo. If you wouldn’t take the shot with a bow or a 9mm pistol, you shouldn’t be doing it with subsonic .300 BLK. JMHO.

Iím with ya. I figure itís a 40-50 yard max to be effective on a whitetail

I think you are correct. I've shot 4 does with the 194 Lehigh in past couple years. All shots were 60 yards or less. None of them ran more than 40 and piled up. Really good expansion but I wouldn't push it more than 75 yds max.

I shot a couple does with the Hornady 190 Sub-x ammo. I was underwhelmed with it to say the least. Went back to 110 grain GMX.
