We do every Wednesday in August. Numbers are due sept 1.

I’ve been out last two Saturday mornings. Very little movement during the day. You would think the biologist would realize deer don’t move in 100* weather.

When the biologist told me I had to do stand counts in August, I decided we did not have too many does.

I use a combo of game cam, driving the cut corn fields in the evening and usually one night survey.

No plans to sit in a blind in August.

I'm supposed to do 5 sits in 5 different stands. There's no way I can do that many sits in August so I do a combination of sits / observation and trail cam survey. Cams aren't as accurate but it's better than nothing.
