Help a newbie get started please

He lives in Votaw, TX. Thanks everyone for the advice. I’m tempted to get one myself, but I’m worried it may mess up my form when using the compound bow.

As another has said check out solid archery mechanics it is the best $200 you will spend on read and in the long run will save you that much in extra gear that you buy cause you blame stuff on gear. For an intro to trade archery check out "The Push" on YouTube, they did an awesome video over intro to trad archery and review a variety of topics at a high level of detail so you at least get an idea of what your looking for and can start asking questions and diving deeper into the rabbit hole!
