I feel your pain. I found a left Savage Mark II I am about to experiment with a barrel swap using a 10/22 barrel. Heard good reviews online about the swap and fairly simple to do.

I was really interested in the footprint of the folding chassis rifle. Probably still interested in the chassis if it will be light. If the same barrel in a carbon Maverick would be lighter, I might be willing to go that route with a 16” barrel and QD suppressor.

Someone help me out here. Isn’t a carbon maverick pretty much in the same vein as the last couple builds? I don’t see a lot of glaring differences.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that, as I love my rifle from last years build.

They are all very similar to last few builds but stocks change a bit. Think most people that hunt prefer that setup over a target gun. Would like to see the altitude with a more maverick style stock. That would be the true lightest weight build.

Just watched a video over the Sig Cross which is kinda what I was picturing with the number two. A 22in folding stock rifle hiking around in the mountains would be a dream. Especially with Roberts touch on accuracy. Follow your heart Robert! Ha.
