This is pretty much how I feel. Shooting a rifle at a deer 100+ yards away just doesn’t give me the same adrenaline rush as shooting deer with a bow 15 yards away does.

I sat in the stand tonight with my bow only because it’s been the first opportunity to change my feeder timer since DST. I’ll be with my oldest tomorrow with him behind the rifle since we missed youth weekend. Rifle hunting just doesn’t excite me as much as the ol stick and string.

I don't have much desire to shoot one with a gun but I may have the 300BO hanging in the tree as well as the bow.
Just in case some pigs or yotes show up out of bow range
