Aren't mascots supposed to represent strong, admirable, determined, fierce, etc?
The college team I played for, Arkansas State Indians change their name a few years ago to the Red Wolves. I will not be buying any Red Wolves gear.
It won't be long that they will ban that too, on the basis of oppressed, endangered, looks like a puppy dog, animals are people too.
Go Arkansas State Hammers!!!! (not pork ham, I mean what you drive a nail with). Anyone offended with that?
