    What is this weed called?

What is the name of this durn weed that is taking over my yard?? It’s awful stuff and I’ve got to figure out how to kill it! It’s like a giant dandelion with prickers. Grrrrrr.

Suggestions on how to kill it?

Easy to kill with 2-4-D... next season put out pre-emergent before it germinates.

What is that? Where do I get it? Is it safe on grass or will it kill the grass also?

Tractor supply has it, it doesn't take a lot as it needs to me mixed with water,
It will not kill grass but will kill any broad leaf plant it touches

It is not really that expensive.. you can find it in lots of lawn care herbicides but its better just to get a concentrate and mix yourself according to the bottle.

Herbicide broad leaf killer. Will not hurt your grass. It is a lawn herbicide for post emergent weeds. Next year spray a Pre-Emergent early February and they won't come up.

Local feed store will probably carry it. WalMart, Tractor Supply, Atwoods, Home Depot, Lowe's as well.

And NO it is not that expensive even though you didn't ask that!
