    Got it done in Kansas!!

I stalked this buck in the open country two weeks ago during the ice storm. When he stood my equipment was frozen and I couldn’t get the ice out of my knocks in time and he finally spooked.

After thinking about this deer for two weeks, I thought i screwed up on a giant that I would probably never see again and it was killing me.

Well I was wrong! I found him again on my first day back. He was 4.5 miles from where I stalked him the first time. He bedded around 10:30 and off I went. I crawled hundreds of yards in crp and I finally killed him when he stood at 4pm!! Thank god for second chances!! He did have about 10” of times broke off since the first stalk but I couldn’t care less.
