    Axis hunts

    Guys,

Looking for an axis hunt for June/July this year. Anyone have any recommendations of ranches we could go to for 3/4 guys?

Don’t need 5star sleeping or anything just a place to shoot an axis buck and maybe a doe.

    Thanks!

    Scott

There’s a guy on here, I believe his name is Matt. He’s a sponsor, and he does a big military hunt every year for armed forces personnel. They have giant exotics to boot. I can’t remember his screen name or ranch name but maybe someone will come along that does! That’s who I would book with, were I ever to book one!

Another vote for Diamond C if it’s gonna be a bow hunt.

Corley Ranch in Madisonville for gun or bow.

H4 Ranch near Rocksprings. Good people, very nice accommodations for the price, and has a pool and tons of other stuff to do besides hunt.

In fact I have been debating bringing the family out there for a long weekend just to get away.

For those that said Diamond C, what can someone expect? Blind/feeder setups or spot & stalk? Guided, semi-guided, or unguided? How big is the place?

Just seeing this as I was going through my subscribed posts looking for another thread.

It’s typically semi guided, in a blind or stand over feeder or road corn

Sometimes if he knows where a particular group is he will let you put a stalk on em. Sometimes

                      It’s around 1000 acres

Skylar and crew are really great people.
