I killed 7 yesterday. Shot one at 147 yards with a .17WSM using 15 grain V-Max. Shot 5 with a 22-250 using 55 grain Winchester Varmint X and one that got away using Remington 3" #4 buckshot. I normally don't count the ones I shoot that I don't find but I know for a fact that coyote isn't going to survive.

Which brings our total to 160.

Killed one this morning in the snow. 50 yards with the .22 mag using 30 grain hollowponts. Smoked him between the eyes.

Shot two more this evening. I was cutting it close. If it had been any darker I couldn't have seen to shoot that last one. I hate this time change.

Smoked this dog this past Sunday morning with a 6.5CM. Was expecting a 200-300 yard shot, and he came out at 75. Wish I’d had my Henry X .44 instead. One less fawn killer, at least.

My buddy had 7 coyotes on his trail camera. They were all eating corn the night before last. Gonna have to go set a call out and see if we can't get a few to come in.
