Nice. I have 8 femurs with scraps in the freezer. I was gonna use for broth but….. what type of saw did you use?

Never tried elk marrow. That looks good though. Will keep some big bones here in a few weeks.

Oh hell no. I sucked the marrow out of the bone in a steak once when I was just a wee lad. Nastiest crap I’ve ever had in my mouth. I spent the next 30min tryin to lick my own butt to get the taste out.

I bought some stainless steel bone blades from Amazon for my Dewalt sawzall. Got them in yesterday. Cut up some shanks for osso bucco too.

Nice. Will check that out. I use my recip saw to take the shanks off but never knew there was a bone blade.

What technique did you use to get the nicely blackened crust and still medium inside? Looks great.

I can't speak for the OP but by the title I assume he is using the HARDCORE CARNIVORE "BLACK" seasoning. you can pick it up online and they have started carrying it at Academy as well. SO DANG GOOD
