            Great video, I always teach my son to do this shot placement. He took a heavy, old cull buck last year with a .243 and dropped him in his tracks, never made a step forward.

            I would love to see this same video but in a hogs anatomy.

                  Great post. Looking at the anatomy, this is exactly why when Rifle hunting I like the high shoulder shout. You take out the spine, top of heart and lungs. The deer will not take a step.
                  I really liked the quartering away section as I initially thought he was aiming a little too far back. Clearly not the case and a great reminder heading into the season.

                      I have an overlay of a whitetail that is like a calendar showing the full deer with hide, then the muscle anatomy, then the skeletal with the vitals in the background and then the vitals . Probably 25 years old. That is a very good video!
