Wow, just wow. I cannot imagine seeing any of these bucks on our low fence Llano lease. I might pass out. I did see a cow and calf elk at one of my feeders a few weeks ago. They showed up one day only.

Here are a few from my area. The skull pic was a deer that I had seen not knowing how good he was. He ended up getting hung in my fence and when released went to the closest water and was found dead 2 weeks later.

Probably not the longest I have seen on our place but I liked his Cottles and eyeguard length. He's laying underneath a feeder in this pic. Never saw him in person.

Really wanted a shot at this guy. He’s not overly impressive antler wise but definitely had a good body for our area.

We had pics of him in March but nothing since so he’s either moved on or something happened to him. I’m not holding out hope he’ll show up after nothing for around 7 months but one never knows.

Oh well. I did manage to take one last season with almost as nice of a body (pretty sure it was a son of his) so at least there’s that.
