A Couple of Nice Iowa Bucks

There has been a pretty good number of solid studs killed in the first two weeks of the season here in Iowa.

The first picture is of a young man that killed a nice one here in Davis county where we live.

The second picture is a 200+ inch brute killed by a member of a forum called Iowa Whitetails that is like Texas Bowhunter that I am a member of.

I have all kinds of family land in Zone 4 that has never been hunted and I can never get drawn.

You should draw Zone 4 with four or more preference points. 30 nonresident hunters drew Zone 4 last year with 3 points. Zone 4 awarded 448 nonresident licenses last year second only to zone 5 which awarded 560.
