    Ha!

Whatever floats your boat, rings your bell, winds your clock, trips your switch, or clangs your gong.

I personnaly cannot figure the advantage +20% FOC on a whitetail. Their too easy to kill. In one lung and out the other. Make it easy on myself and shoot as flat as possible without getting all noisy.

I've got 2 setups.. one set at 65# with 450g arrows, shooting mechanical broadheads. I take this setup when whitetail is my target.

Other is 72#, 600g arrows, single bevel. I utilize this setup when out of deer season and hogs are target.

Maybe if folks could shoot faster bows the arrows wouldnt be so slow. [emoji41][emoji41][emoji1787] I guess I’ll have to throw some high Foc arrows together see how fast they are it of a real bow[emoji51][emoji51]

I’ve found a pretty happy medium. 505gr arrow, 15%foc, 275fps. Passing through pigs, shouldn’t have a problem getting through a whitetail.

I’ll be redesigning after this year but my arrows are under 400 grains and have no problems with deer pigs audad red stag and axis.... including a doe at 62 yards complete pass through....... I wonder if shot placement has anything to do with it? Lol but I will be adding about 100 grains to next years arrows but also also upping to 80lb limbs

I really don't think you know what slow is. My long bow shoots 170 fps and I can't even remember the last time an animal ducked the arrow. It's not speed, it's knowing when to shoot and having a bow that is whisper quiet not compound quiet.

That was my arrow weight for deer too, and it works well.

My arrow for hogs weighed 115 grains and moved at around 2,400 fps I was never able to reuse them though………
