    NASA and SpaceX Demo-2 Launch

    Watch history being made one week from today, on May 27th, as we get back to launching American astronauts into space on an American rocket from American soil. NASA astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley are headed to the space station in SpaceX's Crew Dragon spacecraft, lifting off on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

    You and the family can witness it all live on NASA Television or their YT stream.

    11:15 a.m. CT – Coverage of NASA's SpaceX Demo-2 launch to the International Space Station (Launch scheduled at 3:33 p.m. CDT)

    3:33 p.m CT - LAUNCH - Ground Control to Major Tom (ten, nine, eight, seven, six); Commencing countdown, engines on (five, four, three); Check ignition and may God's love be with you (two, one, liftoff)

    5 p.m. CT – NASA/SpaceX Demo-2 post-launch news conference

    Awesome...love the live space X videos. Watching those rocket boosters return back to earth and land vertically all by themselves is the icing on the cake

          Will absolutely be tuning in. I try to watch every one of their launches. Like above, watching them them land the rockets is amazing.

                    I'll be tuned in. Got a couple parts from my shop on that piece of equipment...plus it's my Bday on the 27th so that'll be a good reason for a cold one and some viewing.

                          I designed the Dragon Mockups at the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory(NBL), training and ground support equipment for NASA rescue and recovery. I'll be watching. 2nd pic is a Orion trainer.

                              Today is the day! Weather is looking better today than it was earlier in the week but if weather forces them to scrub the launch, SpaceX has backup launch windows scheduled for both Saturday (3:22 p.m. EDT) and Sunday (3:00 p.m. EDT).
