So about year ago I went on a morning hunt and got two pigs with one arrow. Here's the link to that thread.
Well lo and behold I did it again this past weekend! A group of hogs came in at about 8am. I was aiming at a sow that was quartering away. After the shot I saw that two pigs were skewered together for a few seconds. One ran off squirting blood, and the other just stayed laying under the feeder. I thought to myself "did that just happen?" As I was about to start celebrating some of the hogs came back to continue feeding. I was gonna shoot another one, but I decided not to. They eventually left and went back into the brush.
I got out of the pop-up and tracked the sow that ran off. I dragged her back to the feeder. It took me a minute to figure out how i got the second sow. So basically what happened was I shot through the heart of the first sow and hit the sow behind her straight in the forehead.
That black hornet ser-razor did a great job. I did a euro mount of the sow that has the broadhead stuck in her head as a momento. Who knows if I can try to kill two pigs with one arrow again next year.
