Temp dropped, wind out of the north, 20 colder today than yesterday. Should be a good day. Aim small.!

18 Days to Kill- Live!!! - Illinois, Kansas, Arkansas, South Tx

I’m set up and settled in.
The good Lord is showing out this morning. Got the sky glowing with an awesome sun rise.

I’ve hunted this property a many of times but not this set. Brian just put it up this year and it looks ideal to say the least. I’m right on the edge of a big creek system that the deer have numerous trials thru. I’ve got a big wheat field to my East and a cut corn field to my West.

I may be a little partial to this property. I killed my very first Kansas buck here in 2015. I wouldn’t mind a repeat today.

North wind has set in and its 46 degrees. Feels like 39.

Let’s see what happens.

All four deer crossed the creek and are feeding in the corn field.

Feels great this morning! Good to see deer are on their feet.

No more deer movement since 8:00.

Sun is out and the North wind is crisp.

I’ve got Bryce’s arrow loaded, waiting on a shooter to come thru.

Pretty slow day. Hanging in there till dark.
Deer should be feeding on cut corn close to dark. We’ll see.

I did have a hawk checking out the creek earlier.
Nothing else seems to be moving.

Keep after em! That Kansas hunting is like no other I've experienced and we had a heck of a trip last week. I got hung up on one deer and cost me but he'd have been worth it!
