We hunted elk for a couple of weeks in NE Wyoming (Thunder Basin National Grasslands)recently. It seemed odd, but they didn’t even have black bears in that area. Good luck on the hunt! Beautiful part of the world

Our trapping mentor had to release one on the ranch, he told us to get some help on the 1st one we have to try. Catch pole is ready though.

Big rain, wind and snow coming in this afternoon. Hunting may be slow this evening if we get up in time. Hoping for just a dusting of snow up that way.

You folks in Colorado hunting be aware, it could pile up later today into tonight.
