Caul fat
hey gang
I'm trying to track down some caul fat in the greater Houston area.
I've called a few meat markets and asked at HEB.
I also read that Asian markets sometimes have it so i checked the 99 Ranch out in Sugarland.
no luck but at least the head butcher knew what i was asking for.
A friend gave me a beautiful piece of Axis roast - totally lean.
and I wanted to wrap it in caul fat instead of bacon.
